Sometimes in the month of March 2021, these distinguished men and women comprised of professionals, entrepreneurs, educationist, researchers, came together to discuss on how to further ensure peace in Ibolo land through business and commercial avenues. Consequently the journey of the formation of ICCIMA started via communication on the WhatsApp platform. They agreed on the name for the chamber, vision, mission and objectives.

As a team, they donated money both personally and as communities towards the registration of the chamber with the Corporate Affairs Commission.

The subscribers of the ICCIMA believe in unity and so assiduously, they worked towards changing the history of Ibolo land by establishing a chamber of commerce to champion it’s advocacy and influence public policy in favor of private enterprises. They commited their time talent and treasure to build the socio-economy of Ibolo land. They are determined to attract Foreign investment to the area which is mainly an agrarian community, empower it’s teeming youth and develope young entrepreneurs.
