Engr. Bashiru Lawal FNSE

Engr. Bashiru Atunde Lawal, FNSE was born in Ikotun, Kwara State.  He had his primary education at St Mathew’s Primary School, Ikotun, secondary at Offa Grammar School, Offa from where he proceeded to have his A Levels at the School of Basic Studies, Kwara Tech, Ilorin, He obtained his B. Eng (civil) from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria.

Bashiru, has a demonstrated history of working in the civil engineering industry. skilled in AutoCAD, Highways, Steel Structures, Bridge, and STAAD. Strong business development and a seasoned professional.  He is a fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, COREN Registered Engineer and Member of American Society of Civil Engineers with over four-decade experience in the industry.

He is the Managing Director of BAL Engineering Ltd, a civil consultant and contracting company, an organization he has led for over 30 years. Prior to the above he was a Project Engineer at Strudev Consultancy Services, Ilorin and was a Senior Engineer at Sshwed Associates, Ibadan for some years.

Engr. BAL, as fondly called by colleagues is a philanthropist that has touched many lives in his community and has held many leadership positions in the community, religious organisations and professional bodies.  He was the Councilor for Ikotun Ward and Supervisory councilor for work, Oyun LGA, Offa Kwara State from 1989 – 1992, Councilor for Work, Oyun LGA, Ilemona, 1992 – 1993.  He is a peace ambassador for the Ibolo communities.

Engr. Bashiru Atunde Lawal is happily married with children.
